IMPACT BASKETBALL CAMP 2025
6th EDITION
Overview
The 6th edition of the Summer Basketball Camp took place in Yaounde, Cameroon, from August 11-13th, successfully bringing together 85 young participants aged 12 to 17 from across the country. The event continued its mission of promoting youth development through sports, teamwork, and leadership.
The camp reinforced the role of sports as a powerful tool for youth empowerment and social cohesion. Many participants expressed renewed motivation to pursue education and athletic goals, demonstrating the camp’s continued relevance and impact.








Throughout the camp, participants engaged in a balanced mix of athletic and educational sessions, including:

Technical Training: Daily drills focused on shooting, passing, defense, and game strategy.

Workshops: Seminars on leadership, sportsmanship, education, and personal health.

Competitions: Friendly tournaments and skill challenges encouraged teamwork and fair play.

Mentorship: Guest speakers and experienced coaches shared insights on balancing sports, academics, and personal goals. The U.S Embassy in Cameroon representative visited us this year.
